Stationery

I designed these for my sister’s wedding, which was a cruise and then a ceremony in the Bahamas.

I designed this business card for my future mother-in-law. The design is a lot more bright color and a bit busier than I would normally prefer for a business card, but if you are reading this you know that part of being a designer is understanding your clients wants and needs.
In this case, Ellie loves bright colors, flowers, butterflies, and she has a lot of energy. I wanted her business cards to reflect that. The butterfly next to her name on the front of the card is a nod to her love of butterflies, but also to the fact that butterflies are attached to flowers—something I knew she would appreciate.
Truthfully, she did not give me a lot of direction for what she wanted, so I had to ask questions and then use what I knew about her and her business. The circle around her contact info on the back of the card (next image) is reminiscent of a minimalist wreath.

I designed these as a favor to a friend. She had invitations for her shower and wedding that I had to align my design and palette with.
