I solve design problems

Hi there! My name is Jennifer Hawks and I have over 11-years of professional graphic design experience in the health care industry. My story is a bit different than most designers.

I started my career before even graduating from college. At the time, I was majoring in Communication with a concentration in Advertising and Promotion and I needed to complete an internship in order to graduate. Thanks to some wonderful connections a design internship with the manager of Marketing & Creative Services at ProHealth Physicians, seemingly fell into my lap.

That summer I learned more about design that I had ever learned. I learned quickly and became an asset to the team, so when my internship ended, my boss asked me to stay on as a paid intern through my last two semesters of school. At the end of my last semester, before I graduated, my manager offered me a full-time job as a graphic design assistant at ProHealth Physicians. I have worked there and worked my way up as a designer since that first day as an intern.

Now, I work for the Custom Communications team at UnitedHealthcare, building custom presentations for our internal sales team.
